Josh Ries is a glassblower from the Pennsylvania area. His style of glass is a mixture of traditional Italian techniques with contemporary styles. His love of glass pushes him to explore new ideas and techniques, and sharing what he has learned with others.

Josh has been exploring the possibilities of neon and plasma in his glasswork. He has been working with Tony Greer of Tornado Gallery in Lubbock Texas to fill his work with plasma gas. This work has a lot of possibility and should have some interesting glass in the near future
